Native to Australia, this captivating and gorgeous Stag beetle is symbolized in all its beauty as a glorious cameo. A stunner that is sure to be noticed not only for its beauty but for its unusual and unique subject matter.

A large solid brass beetle has been hand painted in a luminous green and set on a large, genuine Mother of Pearl cabochon that is mounted in a brass bezel and set in a hand painted and colorful, floral cameo frame. Suspended from heavy vintage double link brass chain and accented with multiple sized, vintage, faceted, black iridized Czech glass beads and deep lavender fresh water pearls. A colorful “Feast of Fancy” indeed!

This cameo focal is large; the Mother of Pearl cabochon measures 30mm x 40mm, the cameo frame setting measures 50mm x 60mm. The Stag beetle itself measures 30mm x 38mm. Vintage brass chain is 16″ inches long and closes securely with a heavy duty and decorative lobster clasp. Painted with a specialized metal paint, the colored finish has been baked on to the metal and is permanent.
